Beijing Adult Entertainment: You Wanted More on Climate Change Conference? Here it is!
First let me say that I KNOW for a fact that there is climate change. There has always been climate change. There will always be climate change. BUT, there has never been a struggle by humans to try and reach worldwide agreements on climate change/global warming until the Kyoto Accord. Kyoto (it expires in 2012) is an international environmental treaty with the goal of stabilizing greenhouse gasses.
I recently wrote, âThe Copenhagen Climate Change Conference of 2010 [the 15th UN climate change conference] has turned into a circus of the unhappy, frightened, clueless, well meaning, greedy, anti-capitalist, capitalists, scientific, and just plain goofy.
In Denmark you have the Group of 77 Third World countries, the rich Europeans and Americans, the sinking island states, the anarchist rioters, Obama the Nobel Prize Winner, climate-change deniers, mystics, voodoo economists, prostitutes (legal in Denmark), and a very confused and amused world news media all making headlines.â (Schmidt, DSM Register Politics Blog, Dec. 12, 2009)
