… – Normally, I don’t watch hockey because of the violence, but I was delighted to watch the women playing hockey because there was none of that. It reminded me of hockey when I was a kid.
- – Wait. Other teams don’t have a celebratory beer at centre ice after a win?
- – I get annoyed at how individuals spontaneously declare they’re proud to be Canadian as a result of some Olympics-related turn of events. To my admittedly pragmatic way of thinking, doing this implies such pride was either lacking or nonexistent in the first place.
- – Hey, anybody know where I can get a pair of those cool slacks the curlers from Norway are wearing?
- – The bouquets given to the medal-lists have all been handmade by a group of women who are recovering from addictions and/or prostitution. The colour is in keeping with the games’ colours: green and blue.
